Kiley Goff joins the UAB softball program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2027 campaign after serving as the head coach at Union Commonwealth University.
Goff entered coaching as an assistant at Indiana State in 2024 after completing her collegiate playing career at Louisville. She spent the 2025 season with the Sycamores before taking over the Union Commonwealth program.
A native of West Lafayette, Indiana, Goff enjoyed a decorated Division I playing career at Purdue, Maryland and Louisville. A versatile catcher and utility player, she made an immediate impact at Purdue, appearing in all 44 games as a freshman in 2021.
Goff transferred to Maryland, where she became the Terrapins' starting catcher and a team captain. She earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors in 2022 and started all 54 games in 2023. That season, she led the Big Ten with 13 runners caught stealing while scoring a team-best 42 runs.
Across two seasons at Maryland, Goff recorded 67 runs, 31 stolen bases and threw out 24 runners attempting to steal.
She concluded her collegiate career at Louisville in 2024, starting all 52 games for the Cardinals. Goff earned her degree in liberal studies with a minor in biology.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Goff has worked with youth travel baseball, provided private softball instruction and assisted with camps at Purdue, Maryland and Louisville.
Goff comes from a coaching family. Her father, Greg Goff, is the head baseball coach at Purdue and previously served as the head coach at Alabama, Louisiana Tech, Campbell and Montevallo.
