KelseyΒ SpharΒ joined the UAB Athletic Department in November of 2024 as the Associate Athletic Director of Fan Engagement and Marketing.Β
Prior to joining the UAB staff,Β SpharΒ spent two years as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement at William & Mary. Overseeing the marketing department, serving as liaison to the pep band, spirit squads and mascots, and the implementation of the Kaplan Arena fan engagement enhancements including the set up and integration of a $1.5 million Daktronics video board system, sound system and LED lighting.

A native of Columbus, Ohio,Β SpharΒ is aΒ former DI game day and competitive cheerleader, securing the 23rdΒ National Championship for Morehead State University in 2013.Β SpharΒ holds a bachelor's degree in Sport Management from MSU and a masters in communication from Northern Kentucky University.
