Kate Adcock joined the UAB Department of Athletics in August 2022 and serves as the athletic trainer for women’s basketball, women’s golf as well as the cheer and dance squad.
She came to Southside after spending two years as associate head athletic trainer at Jacksonville State (through ATI Physical Therapy) where she worked with the Gamecocks’ soccer, track, football, baseball, and women's basketball teams.
Additionally, she spent part of 2020 at PepsiCo-Frito Lay for Pivotal Physical Therapy.
While obtaining her master’s degree in higher education and leadership at Mercer in 2020, Adcock was a graduate assistant working directly with football and softball as an assistant athletic trainer.
She earned her bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Troy in 2018.
