JaCarey joined Blazer Boosters in September of 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Stewardship. In this role, she oversees all donor recognition efforts and stewardship communications while assisting with premium hospitality for Football and Men’s Basketball. Heard also supports the coordination of special events and fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Prior to joining UAB Athletics, she worked as the Athletics Human Resource Specialist at the University of Alabama.

An alum of UAB, JaCarey graduated with a B.S. in Management and was a member of the UAB Track & Field team from 2014–2017. She also holds a M.S. in Sports Management from the University of Alabama.
