Grayson Munyon

Grayson Munyon joined the UAB Baseball staff in the fall of 2026. Munyon comes to UAB after two seasons as a Graduate Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University. During his time at MTSU, he worked as camp coordinator, as well as assisting in player development, analytics, operations, and strength and conditioning. Since joining the Blue Raiders in 2025, Munyon helped oversee a pitching staff that improved upon 14 statistical categories on the mound, including lowering the team ERA from 7.36 before his arrival to 5.52 in his final season. He also helped in the development of 2026 draft picks Drew Horn (12^th round - St. Louis Cardinals) and David Horn Jr. (19^thround – Tampa Bay Rays).

Munyon played four seasons as a pitcher for Birmingham-Southern College under Coach Jan Weisberg. While at BSC, Munyon was a part of the historic 2024 World Series run, along with three super regionals and three conference championships in his time at BSC. He also helped coordinate baseball operations during his final season.

Munyon is originally from Collierville, TN. He graduated from BSC in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing with a minor in Psychology and from MTSU in 2026 with a Master’s in Strategic Leadership.
