Named Third-Team All-Conference USA ... in her first race with UAB, Brown finished ninth of 93 runners in the 4K at the Auburn Invitational with a time of 15:06.6 ... placed 14th out of 222 runners in the 6K with a time of 21:38 at the Bradley Classic ... finished 71st at the NCAA South Regional with a time of 21:45 in the 6K ... named to the Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll and earned the league[apos]s Academic Medal.

Brown has also competed on the UAB track and field team as a distance runner ... last indoor season, Brown finished fifth at the C-USA Indoor Championships in the 3,000m with a time of 9:43.49 ... ran a season best time of 17:01.67 in the 5,000m to finish in sixth place out of 20 ... during the outdoor season, she finished in seventh place in the 10,000m run at the C-USA Championship with a time of 36:35.71.
