2007: Participated in three meets for the Blazers ... top performance of the year came at the Coach 'O' Invitational as she set a new 2-mile personal best by 52 seconds ... finished that met 28th with a time of 12:18.75 ... did not race in the Tiger Twilight and Notre Dame Invitational ... finished 67th in 21:35.04 at the Crimson Classic ... took 75th place at the Belmont Opener with a time of 17:23.38.

2006: Participated in two events during her freshman campaign ... placed 24th out of 128 runners at the UAH Invitational with a time of 20:33.7 in the 5K ... took 16th place at the Coach O Invitational by finishing the two mile race in 13:10.84.

High School: Attended Walker High School in nearby Jasper, Ala., just north of Birmingham ... was state qualifier in cross country from 2000-05 ... also qualified for state championships in track and field in 4x800, 4x400 and triple jump in 2005 ... earned all-state accolades in 2000, 2003, 2004 and 2005) ... was tabbed to The Birmingham News all-metro second girls cross country team ... coached by Lance Archer ... member of National Honor Society and was also Birmingham News Scholar-Athlete of the Week recipient.
