BIO: Virginia Voitier, a 5-7 defender from Metairie, La., attended Haynes Academy. She chose UAB because of the people and the city. Voitier helped lead her team to the 2024 Louisiana state championship and earned Division III Player of the Year honors along with State Championship MVP recognition. She was also a two-time All-State selection, a four-time All-Metro honoree and a three-time District MVP. She helped her high school capture its first-ever state championship and gained additional experience through Fab 50 (p1440). Voitier has been playing beach volleyball for five years. Academically, Voitier earned Honor Roll recognition and was a member of the National Honor Society. She has also been involved in community service through coaching 13-year-olds and served in a leadership role on student council. Away from the sand, she enjoys sunset walks. Fun fact: she and her sister are named after states.
