Lauren Koss enters her 1st year working with UAB Athletics, and her primary sport assignments are volleyball and beach volleyball.
Prior to joining UAB, she completed athletic training immersion experiences at the United States Air Force Academy and at Whitnall High School in Milwaukee, WI. At the United States Air Force Academy, she worked with the football program. Her biggest highlight was being able to experience the competitiveness of the service academies for the Commander-in-Chief's trophy and being able to gain valuable experience working with elite athletes in a Division I football program. While at her alma mater, UW- La Crosse, she completed clinical rotations as a grad student with the cross country, tennis, gymnastics, and women's lacrosse teams. She also gained experience with the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League through Gunderson Health System.
While pursuing her graduate degree, she served as a graduate assistant in the Exercise and Sport Science Department at UW-La Crosse.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science in May 2024 and also received her Master of Science in Athletic Training in May 2026.
