Morgan Fleming is in herΒ first season as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team.
Prior to her time at UAB, Fleming played basketball for four years at the UniversityΒ of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg, Mo. She helped the Jennies to a 2018 Division II Championship and was named All-MIAA Conference First Team in 2019.
She racked up accolades in 2020, including being selected as a First Team All-American, the MIAAΒ Conference Winter Student Athlete of the Year and a NCAA Woman of the Year nominee for theΒ MIAA.Β
She graduated from UCM in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.
Originally from Liberty, Mo., Fleming graduated from Liberty High School where she was a two-sport athlete, playing both basketball and volleyball. She was valedictorian of her class.
She isΒ currently pursuing her MBA at UAB with plans to graduate in May 2022.Β
