Protective Stadium Seating & Parking Selection Process

Important Notes and Reminders

This online process puts the selection of season tickets and parking locations directly in the hands of Blazer Boosters members and season ticket holders. To expedite your selection, please read these important notes and reminders:

GENERAL INFO

For the ideal seat selection experience, fans are encouraged to login and select their seats on desktop computer using either Google Chrome or Firefox web browser. iPads and Tablets work as well. Please do not try to select your seats on a smartphone device.
During your 2021 UAB Football seat selection time you will be able to select your seats for the brand-new Protective Stadium this fall! During your seat selection appointment, you will be able to login to a 3D depiction of Protective Stadium to select your season ticket and parking locations, as well as have priority access to tickets to the neutral site game in Montgomery against Jacksonville State.
For those that have already purchased season tickets, if you select seats that are more than what you paid for with your original ticket order, or if you elect to add on additional season tickets, the balance will be reconciled at checkout. If you have not already placed a ticket order, the full balance for your seats will be due at checkout. This includes the cost of season tickets, any applicable scholarship seats fees, parking, and any additional tickets desired for the neutral site game.
All patrons will receive an email notifying them of their individual selection time where they will have an opportunity to select their seats through the online selection process. If for some reason your email is invalid or not on file, you will receive a phone call with a Blazer Boosters or UAB Athletics Ticket Office representative. An email reminder will also be sent two days and one hour prior to your seat selection time. If you wish to confirm the email address on file, please call the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1.
Patrons are encouraged to login prior to their seat selection time to view seating options and to familiarize themselves with the system. During the patron’s designated seat selection time, they will then have their opportunity to select seats and have until the conclusion of seat selection on 5/21/2021 to complete their order. Once a fan completes the checkout process, their account will become locked for the remainder of seat selection. If you need to alter your order or adjust your seat selection, you will need to contact your UAB Athletics representative to adjust or unlock your account.

SEATING AND PARKING SELECTION OPTIONS

Online: Fans will be able to select their seating and parking locations through their UAB Athletics online account. A 3D map of Protective Stadium is available online providing patrons a virtual view of each seating location.
In Person: Fans may select their seating and parking locations in person in the Green & Gold Room of Bartow Arena during their scheduled appointment.
By Phone: Fans who would like assistance over the phone when making their selections can request a phone call from a UAB Athletics Representative. More information on how to make a request will be coming soon.

LINKED VS. UNLINKED ACCOUNTS

To view and select your seats for Protective Stadium, it is important that fans can login to their UABSports.com account. Login into your UABSports.com account by visiting the "Sign Into Your Account" page here. Fans will be notified prior to seat selection if their online account is either LINKED or UNLINKED with their existing box office account.

LINKED ACCOUNTS – If your online account and box office account are LINKED, this means that you have previously registered your account and have logged into your online ticket account manager in the past. Since you have logged in before, you can simply access your account with the email address on file (or customer account number) and the password you previously selected. If you are having trouble logging in, you may just need to reset your password by hitting the forgot password link.

UNLINKED ACCOUNTS – If you received a notification that your account is UNLINKED you will simply need to register your account prior to seat selection. Please follow the Step by Step instructions listed below to link your online account with your box office account.

On the "Sign Into Your Account" page, go to the ‘Existing Box Office Customer’ box in the bottom right hand corner and click on the “Link Your Account” button.
Enter your customer number and online pin to register your account. You should have received an email and mailer from UAB Athletics which included this information. If you have trouble locating this information, please call the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-8221.
To finish registering your account, you will need to use the same email address associated with your box office account by filling in the other requested information.

GROUP SEATING/SITTING WITH FRIENDS

Customers wishing to sit and/or park with others need to coordinate their selection with the appointment time of the lowest ranked person within their desired group; At that designated time, each group member can log into the online system and choose their seats and/or parking together.
Seating locations and/or parking spaces cannot be held in the system to wait for a lower ranked customer to log in and select their tickets and/or parking space. Therefore, the higher ranked members of a desired group will need to hold on selecting seating and/or parking locations until the selection time of the lowest member of the group.
Each group member can log in at their assigned time in order to check the availability of seats and/or parking; and has the opportunity to make their selections at that point should they wish to forgo their potential group seating and/or parking locations based on the lowest ranked person’s selection time within the group.
Please Note: It is not possible to partially checkout of the seating system.

STRANDED SEATS

Customers will not be allowed to choose a seating location that strands a single seat. For example, if a block of three seats remains in a row, you will not be able to select two of them thereby stranding a single seat. This maximizes seating capacity in Protective Stadium and limits the number of single tickets available. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you appreciate the reasoning behind it.
The UAB Athletics Ticket Office reserves the right to move your seating locations one to the left or right to avoid stranding single tickets or creating an odd number of seats within a row. However, this will not be utilized to move seats off an aisle or if it disturbs a block of seats “stacked” back-to-back on two rows.

MISSED APPOINTMENT TIME

If you miss your appointment time by more than 30 minutes, and/or fail to complete your order, an email from the seating system will be sent to you as a reminder. If you still have not selected by the next business day after your selection time has passed, you will receive a reminder call from a UAB Athletics representative. UAB Athletics will not select seats for you unless a fan provides an email with written permission to do so.

UPGRADING SEATS

A customer who logs into the system at their appointment time and elects to upgrade their seats to a higher season ticket level than previously paid will have the option to do so. Patrons can also add on additional seats and parking to their order. The additional balance of your purchase will be due at checkout.

SELECTION OF SEATS

Seat selection times will be based upon the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System as of the April 1, 2021 UAB Football priority seat deadline.

SELECTION OF PARKING

Season ticket holders will be eligible to purchase season parking passes in designated lots for season ticket holders. Priority parking lots are also available and season parking passes can be selected in these premium lots based on the patron’s designated Blazer Scholarship Fund giving level. The premium parking lot is determined by your Blazer Scholarship Fund contribution for the 2021 giving year.
Parking selection time is identical with a patron’s seat selection time and is based upon your Blazer Boosters Priority Points ranking as of the April 1, 2021 UAB Football priority seat deadline.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) SEATING & PARKING

ADA customers are encouraged to contact the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1 during their seat selection time to be accommodated with easily accessible or wheelchair seating needs.
There is ADA accessible seating within each area of Protective Stadium. Customers will meet the minimum scholarship seat fees associated with any premium seats located in certain sections of Protective Stadium.
All qualifying ADA patrons are eligible for one parking space.
