Ted Feeley is in his second year as the Associate Athletics Director for Communications at UAB and handles the day-to-day responsibilities for the Blazers' football, men's golf and beach volleyball teams.
Prior to joining UAB, Feeley spent four years as the Director of Media Relations at the University of Pittsburgh. In his time with the Panthers, Feeley worked primarily with football, women’s basketball and track and field.
A native of Syracuse, N.Y., Feeley spent 2011-12 as an Athletic Communications Assistant for the Orange. While working at Syracuse, he was the primary contact for volleyball, softball, women’s tennis and the secondary men’s basketball contact.
Before his time with the Orange, Feeley earned his master’s degree at Marshall University and served as a graduate assistant in the Thundering Herd’s athletic department from 2009-11. His primary sports were men’s soccer, women’s tennis and track and field.
From 2008-09, Feeley worked one year as a Sports Information Intern at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In his time with the Nanooks, he covered the men’s and women’s basketball programs, cross country skiing and rifle.
Feeley is a 2008 graduate of Springfield College and was a four-year starter on the men’s soccer team. He earned his undergraduate degree from Springfield in sports journalism/communications and his master’s in adult and technical education from Marshall University in 2011.
