Jason Anderson joined Blazer Boosters after spending a year as a Senior Sales Consultant with the Aspire Group in the UAB Fan Relationship Management Center. Responsible for generating revenue through the sales of various ticket programs, he thrived in coordinating multiple ticket sales initiatives within the Birmingham community. Anderson currently serves the UAB Athletic Department as the Associate Director of Development.
In his role with Blazer Boosters, Anderson primarily focuses on managing the annual fund as well as the Blazer Boosters internship program. With an emphasis on growing annual Blazer Boosters memberships and enhancing departmental revenues, Jason influences the growth of these programs through relationship building efforts while maintaining the annual fund timeline.
Jason joined UAB after spending seven years in the airline industry in various roles culminating in the position of United Express City Manager. Prior to his time in the airline industry, Jason was a member of the NJ Nets sales staff, the sales and sponsorship coordinator with ScorePAD Sports Inc., and an intern and contractor for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
A native of New Jersey, Jason played football for two years at Georgetown University where he graduated with a degree in marketing. While at Georgetown, he worked with the office of special events, focusing on in-game operations for basketball and lacrosse. Anderson also holds a master's degree in sports administration from Georgia State University.
Anderson is married to the former Danielle Wattleton of Irondale, Ala. Jason and Danielle have a daughter named Julianna.
