All Weekend Athletic Events Cancelled or Postponed.

In light of the events that took place earlier this week in the United States, UAB Athletics Director Herman Frazier announced all Blazer athletic events scheduled for this weekend, Friday Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 16, have been either postponed or cancelled.
UAB earlier announced its football game at Pittsburgh has been rescheduled for Dec. 1.
Here is the list of the other athletic events that will not be played this weekend:
Men's Soccer Friday, Sept. 14 vs. Marquette at UAB Sunday, Sept. 16 vs. Birmingham-Southern at UAB
Women's Soccer Friday ? Saturday at University of Portland Tournament
Volleyball Friday ? Saturday, Sept. 14 and 15, at Lady Vol Classic in Knoxville, Tenn.
Cross Country Saturday Sept. 15 at Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa
Makeup dates or newly scheduled events will be announced later.
