Bobby Staub Appointed to NCAA Division I Baseball Committee

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB Senior Associate Athletic Director Bobby Staub has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.
Staub, in his 20th year as a member of the Blazer athletics staff, is in his 14th year as an administrator in the UAB athletic department. He has served as senior associate AD since 1997.
Staub is one of six representatives on the committee from Division I-A institutions. Overall, there are 10 members on the committee with one from each of the eight Division I baseball regions (East, Northeast, Atlantic, South, Central, Mideast, Midwest and West) and two selected at-large.
The NCAA Division I Baseball Committee has many responsibilities related to collegiate baseball, including the selection of the field each May for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
A native of Birmingham, Staub is a 1982 graduate of Auburn.
