Blazers Place 98 Student-Athletes On C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB placed 98 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2001-02 academic year. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and participate in a conference-sponsored sport.
The football team had 16 student-athletes make the honor roll, women's soccer had 15 student-athletes receive the honor and baseball had 14 players on the list.
An all-time high of 1,677 C-USA student-athletes earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2001-02 academic year.
