Seventy Five UAB Student-Athletes Recognized For Classroom Achievement By Conference USA

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - More than 1,200 student-athletes have earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2000-01 academic year, including 75 athletes from UAB, Commissioner Mike Slive announced today. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and participate in a conference-sponsored sport. Ten student-athletes from UAB received the Commissioner's Academic medal that honors those student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above.
