UAB, Official College Sports Network Launch New www.UABSports.com

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham athletic department, in conjunction with the Official College Sports Network, unveiled today a complete redesign of the school's official athletic site, www.UABSports.com. The revamped site combines official athletic department content with the latest in digital technology and design, showcasing a new easier to navigate layout.
Along with the new look, UABSports.com offers expanded efforts to provide alumni, fans and media with complete information on all Blazer sports. The site features live game broadcasts, up-to-date scores and statistics, audio and video clips, schedules, ticket information and interactive games and promotions. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to interact online with Blazer players and coaches.
UAB Athletic Director Watson Brown discussed the redesigned site, "We are excited about our new and expanded athletics web site. The web site is an important tool for our program and a great resource for our supporters to receive the most up-to-date information on our athletics program and its sports teams. In working with our friends at OCSN to develop the site, we feel our fans will be provided increased access to the information most important to them."
