Cairo and Stockard Earn C-USA Pair of the Week Honor

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Claudia Stockard and Lauren Cairo were named Conference USA Pair of the Week after posting a perfect 4-0 record at Court 3 during UAB's undefeated weekend at the Tiger Beach Challenge. The duo delivered in the biggest moments, clinching dual victories with three-set wins over No. 18 Washington and TruVolley No. 20 Tulane. Competing against ranked opponents, Stockard and Cairo consistently held their composure in pressure situations, securing critical points that propelled the Blazers to a 4-0 weekend
The pair improved to 7-2 overall this season. Cairo moved into the top five in program history for career wins at Court 3 and improved her career record to 14-1. Stockard remains unbeaten on Court 3 in her career at 8-0.
