Rose Reaches Program Milestone as All-Time Wins Leader

Rose joined UAB in 2023 as an assistant coach and helped the Blazers to 18 wins, which at the time was a school record. She was elevated to head coach on Aug. 17, 2023.
During her first full season at the helm, Rose guided UAB to 19 victories. She also coached senior Arden Copping to the program's all-time wins record with 70 career victories, a mark that was surpassed this season by Jasmine Haas. Rose was also named to the AVCA Thirty Under 30 list in 2023.
In 2025, she led the Blazers to a program-record 21 victories. Haas and her partner Olivia Stant earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2025 under Rose's guidance. Her program has also excelled off the court. The 2024 team posted the highest collective GPA of any UAB team during the 2023-24 academic year and earned the AVCA Team Academic Award.
Rose played indoor volleyball at Pittsburgh from 2011-14 and ranks third in program history in career digs with 1,607. Following her time at Pitt, she transferred to Florida Atlantic as a graduate student, where she played beach volleyball from 2015-16 and earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2016.
Following her collegiate career, Rose played indoor professionally for VBC Kerzers in Switzerland from 2017-18. She returned to the United States in 2018 and competed on the AVP beach circuit from 2019-22.
Along with her playing career, Rose has coached since 2017. Her experience includes serving as program director for Chicago Sand Volleyball (2018-19), freshman volleyball coach at Montini Catholic (2018-19), club coach for New Wave Volleyball (2018-19), an independent coach for Gold Medal Squared (2017-20), indoor coach at Legacy Volleyball Club (2020-21), and indoor and beach assistant coach at Calvary Christian (2020-21). She also served as an elementary school counselor at Sexton Elementary in St. Petersburg, Fla., from 2020-22.
Rose is a native of Evanston, Illinois. She graduated from Pittsburgh in 2014 with a degree in media and professional communication and earned a master's degree in counseling from Florida Atlantic in 2019.
