History For Haas, Sets Program Record For Wins

BATON ROUGE, La. - UAB senior beach volleyball player Jasmine Haas set the program's all-time individual wins record Friday morning earning her 71st career victory in a 3-2 upset of No. 18 Washington.
Haas entered the season just four wins shy of the program record. She collected three victories during the Blazers' opening weekend at the FSU Unconquered Invitational in Tallahassee, Florida pulling into a tie with her former partner, Arden Copping. Haas also tied the program's single-season wins record last year with 26 victories.
"Since her freshman year, Jazzie has been the most dominant force in our program," Head coach Delaney Rose said, "Her impact goes far beyond the stat sheet- she's helped change the trajectory of this program on and off the court."
The win also moved Haas and current partner Olivia Stant into sole possession of third place in program history for most career wins as a duo with 30.
