Know Before You Go: Saturday’s UAB Fan Fest Information

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics will host its annual Fan Fest this Saturday morning, Aug. 9, at Legacy Pavilion. Below is key information fans should know before they head to UAB.
Event: Free and open the public
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: UAB Legacy Pavilion – 1219 6th Ave South, 35223
Gates: Gates open at 10 a.m. to the public
Parking: Collat School of Business/Gravel Lot at corner of 6th Ave South and 11th Street/Gravel Lot at corner of University Blvd. and 11th Street (back of Legacy Pavilion)
OTHER INFORMATION:
Blazer student-athletes from the football, volleyball and men's soccer teams will be in attendance. There will be a meet-and-greet from 10-11 a.m., followed by those three sports signing autographs from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
FOOD TRUCKS/VENDORS:
There will be multiple options for food with the following: Kona Ice, Happy Pappi Beignets, Gus' Fried Chicken and Dreamland BBQ. Jimmy John's will be also providing free snacks to the first lucky fans. Water stations will be available and fans are also welcomed to bring their own water bottles.
Additionally, the UAB Bookstore will be set up for fans to purchase gear.
KID FRIENDLY:
There will be inflatables set up on the outdoor practice field for kids to play on during the event.
POSTERS:
Posters will be available for signing, and fans are also encouraged to bring other memorabilia you wish to have signed.
TICKETS:
Season, single game, and group tickets for the 2025 UAB football season will be available to purchase on site.
UAB went on sale with single game home and away tickets last week, while 2025 season tickets remain on sale and are the most cost-effective way to watch the Blazers this season.
