How to Listen to UAB Football During the 2025 Season

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Football is set to kick off the 2025 season on Aug. 28, and fans can catch the Blazers on the airwaves in multiple locations throughout the year.
UAB football games will once again air on WJOX 94.5 FM with David Crane returning for his 19th year handling play-by-play duties as the Voice of the Blazers. Former Blazer great Bryant Turner enters his fourth year as Crane's analyst, while local media personality Landrum Roberts returns to handle sideline duties once again.
Roberts will also serve as the host of the pregame radio show presented by Pepsi on 94.5 FM which starts one hour prior to kickoff for all 12 games. For UAB's six home games, Roberts will broadcast live inside the Stadium Club at Protective Stadium.
Blazer Sportsline presented by Alfa Insurance will continue to air live from the Southside Buffalo Wild Wings location on JOX2 100.5 FM from 6-7 p.m. Each week will feature Head Coach Trent Dilfer, as well as a football student-athlete who earns Wild Man of the Week honors based on his in-game performance from the week before.
