BIRMINGHAM – For a third-consecutive week and after record-breaking performances, Jasmine Haas and Olivia Stant have been named the Conference USA Pair of the Week once again.
Haas and Stant ran their winning streak to 10-straight matches with a perfect 4-0 record at the Blazer Beach Bash in which they did not drop a set.
The UAB 1s pair now has an overall record of 23-5 this season with every match coming on Court 1. Last weekend they established new single season school records of most overall wins, most Court 1 wins and most wins by a pair in a single season.
These two are up for AVCA All-America consideration and have put together the most prolific single season in UAB history.
Haas now has a career record of 64-29, while Stant became the seventh player in program history to reach 50+ wins last weekend. She now has a career record of 50-31.
UAB (18-10, 3-2 CUSA) is two wins away from its first 20-win season in school history and heads to North Alabama this Saturday to conclude the regular season before vying for the Conference USA Championship on April 24-26 in Youngsville, Louisiana.
