Women’s Golf Competes in Pinetree Women’s Collegiate, Places 10th

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team competed at the Pinetree Women's Collegiate hosted by Kennesaw State. The Blazers placed 10th and were led by Zoe Hobbs.
In her first time as UAB's highest finisher, Zoe Hobbs tied for 21st after hitting par 35 times. Brooke Wagner was UAB's second-highest finisher, tying for first in the tournament for most pars (37). Behind Wagner were Chloe Ruble (Ind.) and Ceci Lococo, who shot a combined 12 birdies.
The full list of scores is below:
The Blazers shot +56 as a team (299-303-306 = 908). They were also the second-best in pars, hitting 163. Texas Tech won the tournament.
UP NEXT: UAB will compete in its final regular season tournament at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on April 8-9 in Athens, Ga. The University of Georgia is hosting the tournament.
