BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis (6-10) fell to No. 75 Wichita State (8-9) on Tuesday at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex by a score of 4-1.

The Shockers took the tightly contested doubles point by a tiebreaker on Court One.

Kristof Minarik and Ilias Worthington (WSU) def. Conor Flynn and Georgios Nouchakis (UAB) 7-5

Ondrej Valek was the lone Blazer to pick up a win on Tuesday. He was able to come back after dropping the first set to take the match and earn a point for the Blazers.
