Haas and Stant Named CUSA Pair of the Month

BIRMINGHAM – Seniors Jasmine Haas and Olivia Stant have been named the Conference USA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Month for October, as announced by league officials on Wednesday.

The duo had an undefeated month which included winning the AVCA Pairs Qualifying Tournament in Huntsville on Oct. 25-26 to punch their ticket to the AVCA National Championship.

In the qualifying tournament, Haas and Stant went 5-0 with wins over Stephen F. Austin (21-6, 21-6), UAB (21-19, 21-17), Southern Miss (21-19, 18-21, 15-11), North Alabama (21-18, 16-21, 15-8) and Tulane (21-16, 21-17) on their way to winning the tournament.

Haas and Stant are two of the most prolific players in program history and should shatter all of UAB's single season and career records with another strong spring season.
