BIRMINGHAM β UAB Rifle fell short in matches at North Georgia and UT Martin over the weekend, posting a 4559 in Murray and a 4547 in Martin.

In their first match of the weekend at North Georgia, the Blazers posted an aggregate score of 4559. Emily Buck led UAB in smallbore, air rifle and aggregate score, posting a personal best aggregate of 1,154. Meghan McLaughlin had the second-highest aggregate score on the team with a 1,142, while Emma Bueschel had a 1,132.

The Blazers finished with a 2254 smallbore and a 2295 air rifle. They finished behind North Georgia, which had an aggregate score of 4618.

The Blazers then traveled to UT Martin on Saturday, where they posted an aggregate score of 4547. They fell to UT Martin, which posted an aggregate score of 4637.

Emily Buck led the Blazers in smallbore, air rifle and aggregate, posting a 565, 588 and 1,153, respectively. Emma Bueschel scored a personal best in air rifle, posting a 574.
