Previewing the UAB Home Football Schedule: Game 5 – UConn

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB football team wraps up its non-conference schedule on Nov. 9 at Protective Stadium against the UConn Huskies for the Blazers' annual Salute to Service game.
The UAB Department of Athletics will honor local branches of the military and first responders during the game, and fans can participate through the Tickets for Troops initiative in which a $10 ticket can be purchased and then donated to local branches and military organizations, retired veterans and their families in the area.

This will be the first ever meeting between UAB and UConn on the gridiron. The Blazers will return the trip to Storrs next season on Nov. 1, 2025.
UConn concludes UAB's non-conference schedule this season, which also features Alcorn State (Aug. 29), ULM (Sept. 7) and Arkansas (Sept. 14).
2024 TICKET INFORMATION
Season ticket packages for the 2024 Football season are still on sale. Season ticket packages will feature all six home games during the 2024 football season and provide access to the best available seating at Protective Stadium. Fan experience packages are also now available on a first come, first served basis.
