UAB Women’s Golf Finishes 11th at AAC Championship

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team placed 11th overall at the American Athletic Conference Championship this week in Belleair, Florida.
Freshman Ceci Lococo was UAB's top finisher at +15 (76-77-78 = 231) as she tied for 46th place overall. As a team, the Blazers shot +50 for the tournament (304-305-305 = 914).
SMU won the team title for a second consecutive season at -21, while Daniela Abonce of UTSA won the individual title at -9.
The Blazers finished their inaugural season in the AAC with an overall record of 49-72-2, highlighted by two second place team finishes (Hoover Invite and Brickyard Collegiate), and two top five individual finishes from Grace Sinclair (Hoover Invite and Brickyard Collegiate).
