Marshall Sets Personal Bests at Doc Anderson Invite

TROY – UAB Track & Field concluded the Doc Anderson Invite on Saturday, where they finished the afternoon with numerous personal bests from freshman Aniyah Marshall. Marshall finished top ten in the Heptathlon with five PRs, including three top-eight finishes.
Marshall started the Heptathlon with a PR in the 100m hurdles, followed by a top three finish in the 200 meter. She went on to throw a PR distance in the shot put with 10.62m, earning her a top-eight spot in the event. The following day she set a personal best in the long jump before throwing a PR in javelin and placing fifth in the 800m. Marshall finished ninth overall with a personal best score of 4231.
In addition to Marshall, Trinity Fellows finished with a season-best performance for the Blazers in Pole Vault. Fellows cleared a 3.65m jump, just .18m shy of her personal best.
