UAB Announces Home-and-Home Series with Jacksonville State

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB football team and Jacksonville State have announced a home-and-home series for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
UAB will host the first game at Protective Stadium in 2027, followed by making the return trip to Jacksonville in 2028.
at UAB – Sept. 11, 2027
at JSU – Sept. 2, 2028
The Blazers and Gamecocks have meet six times in program history with UAB leading the series 4-2. UAB has won each of the last four games, having most recently defeated JSU 31-0 to open the 2021 season in the Montgomery Kickoff.
The new two-game series will be the first time both teams will meet as FBS members. UAB and JSU played annually from 1994-97, the first two of which were 1-AA contests before UAB went Division I-A in 1996. UAB then defeated JSU in 2005 and in 2021.
Jacksonville State just completed its first season in the FBS in 2023 and competes in Conference USA.

2024 Season Tickets:
Season ticket packages for 2024 are on sale now and start as low as $99 in the Family Zone season ticket. The public season ticket remains $180, and Blaze's Corner season tickets are also available for an affordable $120 per seat. Premium seating is available on the West and East side of Protective Stadium, and a limited number of Stadium Club seats remain for $1,100 per seat.
