Previewing UAB’s Home Schedule: Game 5 – Florida Atlantic

BIRMINGHAM – Coming off its only bye week of the season, the UAB football team returns to the field on Nov. 4 to host Florida Atlantic for Homecoming at Protective Stadium.
UAB and Florida Atlantic join the American Athletic Conference after trading Conference USA Championships from 2017-2020 as each team won two titles (UAB 2018 & 2020, FAU 2017 & 2019).
The Blazers and Owls have squared off three times since the Blazers returned to action in 2017 as FAU has won two of the three. The home team has won every game in those three contests, and the Blazers will look for a measure of revenge after last year's 24-17 defeat in Boca Raton.
This year's Homecoming game will come later than in year's past. UAB is 5-1 in Homecoming games since 2017, which includes last year's 41-14 victory over Middle Tennessee.
Season tickets for the 2023 UAB Football season are available starting as low as $99. Season ticket packages provide the most affordable way to catch the Blazers in action during all six home games. Season ticket holders also have priority access to purchase additional single game and away game tickets starting which went on sale last week. The Blazers are 40 days away from kicking off the season against North Carolina A&T on Aug. 31 at Protective Stadium.
