Five Blazers Named NTCA All-Academic for UAB Bowling

BIRMINGHAM – Five individuals from UAB Bowling received NTCA All-Academic honors announced by the NTCA Committee earlier this week. Recipients of the honor include – Jamie Krasnigor, Jillian Hulsey, Kacey Marshal, Shauna Rodgers and Savannah Schneider.
The National Tenpin Coaches Association recognized 285 student-athletes across 57 NCAA bowling programs who achieved academic excellence during the 2022-23 academic year. The scholar-athletes have qualified for this award after having earned a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
The Blazers had one graduate student, two juniors, one sophomore and one freshman honored.
The Leesville, South Carolina native, Jamie Krasnigor, graduated with a degree in Public Health. Juniors, Jillian Hulsey and Shauna Rodgers rounded out the academic year as they continue on to seek their respected majors in Biology (Hulsey) and Criminal Justice (Rodgers).
Both sophomore Kacey Marshal and freshman Savannah Schneider are studying accounting during their early years at UAB.
