UAB Men’s Tennis Starts Florida Roadtrip with 6-1 Win Over Cleveland State

JACKSONVILLE – UAB men's tennis (11-4) beat Cleveland State (11-6) by a score of 6-1 at the UNF Tennis Complex to kick off its road trip in the Sunshine State.

DOUBLES
The Blazers captured the doubles point for the 12^th time this season. Nikola Puric and Roman Postolka teamed up to get a 6-1 win on Court Three before Michal Lusovsky and Noah Malige secured the point with a 6-3 win on Court One.

SINGLES
Noah Malige took care of business on Court Five with a 6-0, 6-0 win to make it 2-0 for the Blazers. Carlos Gimenez Perez made it 3-0 with a straight set win on Court Four (6-0, 6-2). On Court One, Michal Lusovsky secured the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win, making it 4-0.

Thanos Spyropoulos won in straight sets on Court Six (6-2, 7-5) before the Blazers split the final two matches. Georgios Nouchakis fell to Raul Teichmann on Court Three (6-3, 6-4) and Vojtech Podzemny won his match on Court Two (3-6, 6-4, 1-0 [10-6]) to close it out at 6-1.
