UAB Rifle Records a 4578, Finishes Fourth at Gamecock Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – UAB Rifle finished the Gamecock Invitational with an aggregate score of 4578, finishing fourth behind three ranked opponents in No. 12 Murray State, No. 16 Jacksonville State, and No. 18 UT Martin.
Christopher Comstock was the Blazers' top aggregate scorer with a 1149. Comstock scored a 566 in smallbore and a 583 in air rifle. Amy Kohan and Gracie Turk finished with aggregate scores of 1148 and 1147, respectively.
In smallbore, Amy Kohan led the way, shooting a 575 while Comstock fired a 566 and Turk added a 562.
Gracie Turk had the Blazers' top air rifle score for the fourth time this season with a 585. Comstock was right behind with a 583 while Brent Ling and Meghan McLaughlin each had a 575.
Murray State finished atop the team standings with a score of 4717 while Jacksonville State finished second with a 4686 and UT Martin placed third with a 4624.
UP NEXT
The Blazers will return to action on January 13 in Spartanburg, S.C. against Wofford.
