UAB Rifle Splits Results Against North Georgia, UT Martin

MARTIN, Tenn. – UAB rifle split its two matches this weekend against North Georgia and UT Martin. Gracie Turk and Amy Kohan were the Blazers' top performers during each of the two matches. The Blazers' recorded two of their three best scores of the season.

The Blazers fell to North Georgia in their first match since the fall on Friday, 4612-4574. Amy Kohan was UAB's top scorer in the match, finishing with a total of 1155, just one point shy of her season-high. Turk put together a strong performance of 1148

In UAB's second match of the weekend against UT Martin, Claire Vondereau's career-best score of 1137 was key to the Blazers' victory. The Blazers captured the close aggregate victory of 4572-4567. Gracie Turk was the Blazers' top performer with a total of 1148, an identical score in back-to-back days.

The Blazers will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on Wofford next Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 a.m. CT.
