UAB Football Home Schedule Preview – Game 6: North Texas
BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Football team will be back at Protective Stadium for the last home game of the year on Nov. 12 to host North Texas for a Conference USA matchup. Kickoff for Senior Day is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
This will be the seventh meeting between the Blazers and Mean Green since 1995. UAB will look to keep its winning streak alive after taking the last three matchups. The Blazers lead the series 5-1, including last year's 40-6 victory in Denton, Texas.
UAB and North Texas will continue to play conference games in the future as both schools prepare to move to the American Athletic Conference on July 1, 2023.
The Blazers sixth home game will also be the annual Salute to Service game, fans have the opportunity to buy a current military member or veteran a ticket for only $10 as part of UAB's Tickets for Troops initiative. Those tickets will be donated to local branches and military organizations, retired veterans and their families in the Birmingham area. Senior athletes will be recognized before the scheduled kickoff.

The Blazers return seven starters on offense and nine starters or co-starters on defense. UAB has 43 wins over the last five years, which is the most of any team in Conference USA.
