C-USA Releases UAB Football’s Updated 2022 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – With the departure of Marshall, Old Dominion and Southern Miss, Conference USA has released UAB's updated 2022 football schedule which still features six home games at Protective Stadium.
UAB was scheduled to play Marshall and Southern Miss at Protective Stadium, but have replaced those home games with Middle Tennessee (Oct. 8) and Charlotte (Oct. 15).
Additionally, UAB was originally scheduled to play at UTEP on Nov. 12, but will instead play at Western Kentucky on Oct. 22.
The 2022 alignment will feature 11 teams. Charlotte, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Rice, UAB, UTEP, UTSA and WKU comprise Conference USA for the 2022 football season.
Conference USA's 18th annual Championship Game is scheduled for Friday, December 2. Details on football championship format will continue to be discussed by the 11 members and released at a later date.
Season tickets for the 2022 UAB Football season are now available starting as low as $90. Season ticket packages will feature all six home games and provide the most cost-effective way to attend games during the second season at Protective Stadium. If you would like to renew your 2021 seating locations in Protective Stadium or take advantage of your Blazer Boosters priority to select new seats, please plan to renew your membership and purchase tickets prior to the April 1, 2022 UAB Football priority seat deadline.
