UAB Bowling Places Fifth at MEAC #2

NORFOLK, Va. – The UAB bowling placed fifth at the second MEAC competition of the season.
In the tournament, UAB finished with a final record of 4-4 with wins over Coppin State, Howard, Norfolk State and No. 18 Morgan State in traditional play.
Individually, Elise London paced the Blazers with a 185.8 average over the two-day tournament. Katie Hurley (185.8 avg), Jamie Krasnigor (179.6 avg.), Jillian Hulsey (173.4 avg.) and Kacey Marshall (167.6 avg.) rounded out the Blazers' lineup.
The Blazers return to the lanes on Feb. 25-27 at the Stallings Invitational in Greensboro, N.C.
