UAB Bowling to Compete in the Track Kat Klash in Houston, Texas

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Bowling team will head to Houston, Texas to compete in the Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston State University. The tournament is schedule for Nov. 4th through Nov. 6th at the Emerald Bowl.
UAB will be taking seven bowlers including: Jillian Hulsey, Shauna Rodgers, Kacey Marshal, Madelynn Oliva, Keagan Trexler, Savannah Schneider and Jamie Krasnigor.
The tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 4th, with five baker matches starting at 9:55 a.m. The Blazers will face Lincoln Memorial in match one, followed by Louisiana Tech, Tulane and Alabama A&M then will end the day playing against hosts – Sam Houston.
On qualifying Saturday, UAB will play five traditional format matches with a start time of 9:30 a.m. and will start play against Texas Southern. For the following matches, the Blazers will take on Southern, Prairie View A&M, Alabama State and Nebraska.
For Sunday, positions and lane assignments will be announced after qualifying and the teams will play three rounds of bracket games with best 4-out-of-7.
