UAB Bowling Travels to Montgomery, Ala. for Final Tournament of the Fall

BIRMINGHAM βΒ The UAB Bowling team is set to finishΒ the 2022 portion of its season at the ISTAP Hornet Classic in Montgomery, Ala. The tournament begins on Nov. 18 and will run through Nov. 20.Β

LOOKING BACK:
The Blazers have had great success when competing in the Hornet Classic over the past several seasons. This year's tournament will mark the seventh year that UAB will compete. The Green and Gold went back-to-back tournament champions in 2017 and 2018 and look forward to a strong finish this year.Β

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
On Friday, five total pinfall baker matches will be played beginning at 8:45 a.m. followed by 5 five-man traditional games on Saturday with a start time of 9:45 a.m. Sunday teams will play three rounds of best 4-out-of-7 baker matches in bracket style. Sunday's start time is set for 8:30 a.m. with award ceremonies to follow once the final game is completed.Β

The Blazers will have five bowlers competing this weekend β Keagan Trexler, Jillian Hulsey, Maddie Oliva, Kacey Marshal and Savannah Schneider.Β
