UAB Bowling Announces 2022-23 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM βΒ UAB Bowling Head Coach Michelle Crews released the 2022-23 schedule including five Fall matches and six in the Spring.

Crews welcomes back four returners including Shauna Rodgers, Jamie Krasnigor, Jillian Hulsey and Kacey Marshal and brings in four newcomers β Emma Bakle, Madelynn Oliva, Savannah Schneider and Keagan Trexler who is a transfer from Maryville.Β

In the preseason poll, the Blazers were picked to finish sixth in the MEAC with North Carolina A&T State, Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State rounding out the top three.

The team starts its fall season in Harahan, La. at the Colonial Lanes Classic hosted by Tulane from Oct. 14 through Oct. 16, then travels to the Dezy Strong Classic in Coram, N.Y. from Oct. 28 through Oct. 30.

UAB will finish its Fall schedule in November, starting in Houston, Texas at the Track Kat Klash from Nov. 4 to Nov. 6 before heading to the first MEAC conference match on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12 in Millsboro, Del.

The Blazers end the month in Montgomery, Ala. at the ISTAP Hornet Classic from Nov. 18 through Nov. 20.

The Spring slate starts Jan. 20, 2023 through Jan. 22, 2023 at the Northeast Classic in Deptford, N.J., followed by the Sunshine State Classic in Orlando, Fl. from Feb. 10 through Feb. 12.

The second MEAC conference match will take place Feb. 18 and Feb. 19 in Greensboro, N.C.

UAB returns to action March 10 through March 12 at the ISC/ITC Sectionals, followed by rounding out the regular season traveling to Smyrna, Tenn. for the Music City Classic.

The Blazers round out the regular season in Las Vegas, Nev. at the USBC ISC/ITC Sectionals from April 20 through April 22.

Postseason competitions include the MEAC Championship, which will take place from March 24 through March 26 in Virginia Beach, Va., the NCAA Regionals on April 8 and April 9 and the NCAA Championships on April 14 and April 15. The USBC ISC/ITC Sectionals National Championship is set for April 20 through April 22.
