BIRMINGHAM – For the second time this camp, the UAB football team was in full pads on Thursday as the Blazers gear up for their first scrimmage this coming Saturday.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
Tickets to the game in Montgomery are on sale for $20, or fans can purchase an ESPN Zone ticket for $100 which allows access to premium food, beverage and seating.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- UAB had a physical practice which featured situational plays at the end of training. The level of play has been impressive throughout camp as the Blazers boast one of their deepest and most talented rosters in program history.
- The secondary continues to be a position that demonstrates the most depth. It is a veteran group that has multiple returning starters (Boler, Turner, Miller, Marshall), but names such as Jaylen Key and Xavier Lanier are players who have been with the program for four years and are creating even more depth with their play on the field and knowledge of the defense.
- It was announced today that the Blazers had five players named to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List – the most of any team in Conference USA. Those players are quarterback Tyler Johnston III, tight end Hayden Pittman, cornerback TD Marshall, safety Kristopher Moll and defensive lineman Justin Thomas. UAB had two players last year play in the Senior Bowl (Jordan Smith and Austin Watkins Jr.).
