Colby Ragland Named to Wuerffel Trophy Award Watch List

BIRMINGHAM – Senior offensive lineman Colby Ragland has been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, which honors college football's top community servant.
The Wuerffel Trophy exists to honor college football players who serve others, celebrates their positive impact on society and inspires greater service in the world.
Along with being one of the best offensive linemen in the country, Ragland has been a staple in the Birmingham community since arriving at UAB in 2018. Along with being a two-time Conference USA champion, Ragland has help build houses three houses in Birmingham, as well as make visits to the local Children's Hospital.
Ragland is also a high achieving student-athletes who is holds a 3.59 GPA in Communications.
The Jackson, Miss. native was a First Team All-Conference USA selection in 2020 and was recently named to the Outland Trophy Watch List which is presented to the nation's top interior offensive or defensive lineman.
The Blazers open the season on Sept. 1 against Jacksonville State at the Montgomery Kickoff on ESPN. Season tickets are on sale by clicking here. Single game tickets go on sale Aug. 4.
