Robillard Named to C-USA Men’s Golf All-Academic Team

BIRMINGHAM – Redshirt junior Nick Robillard has been honored as one of five Conference USA men's golfer named to the C-USA All-Academic Team, the league announced on Thursday.
Robillard graduates this spring with a degree in Finance and maintained a 3.91 GPA throughout his four years. He will graduate as a four-time member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and a three-time recipient of the Conference USA Academic Medal.
"I am proud of how Nick has performed throughout his career both on the golf course and in the classroom," said head coach Mike Wilson. "He is clicking on all cylinders right now and I am excited to see him lead our team in postseason play."
On the course, Robillard is having the best season of his career which will results in more C-USA honors. He leads the Blazers with a 71.9 stroke average and also paces the team in rounds at or under par (11), top five finishes (3), top 10 finishes (3) and top 20 finishes (5).
In his first tournament of the season, Robillard won the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate for his first individual collegiate title. Throughout the season, he has been named Conference USA Golfer of the Week twice.
Robillard is one of five C-USA golfer named to the All-Academic team along with Tom Bevington (WKU), Tyler Jones (Marshall), Tanner Owens (Middle Tennessee) and Rishi Kejriwal (Rice).
Robillard leads the Blazers into the Conference USA Men's Golf Championship which is scheduled for April 26-29 at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark. The Blazers (No. 38) enter the tournament as the second highest ranked C-USA team behind Charlotte (No. 33).
