UAB Football Releases Season Ticket Holder Commemorative Gift

BIRMINGHAM – As the UAB Football program begins a historic new chapter, 2021 season ticket holders will receive a framed commemorative ticket as a token of appreciation for being an inaugural season ticket holder at Protective Stadium.
The defending Conference USA champions move into their new downtown stadium this fall with the opening game coming on Oct. 2, 2021 against Liberty.
Along with a customized Protective Stadium inaugural season logo, the commemorative ticket also features details of UAB's first game against the Flames. Each season ticket account will receive the commemorative gift leading into the 2021 season.
Fans who made commitments for the 2021 season prior to the April 1, 2021 UAB Football priority seat deadline received an email on Monday, April 12, for their individual seat selection appointment which begins on Monday, April 19.
UAB Football season tickets for the inaugural season at Protective Stadium are still on sale starting as low as $75. New 2021 season ticket holders who complete their purchase following the April 1, 2021 priority seat deadline but prior to May 15, 2021 will pick their season ticket and parking locations in late May following the conclusion of the currently scheduled appointments for those fans that committed prior to the deadline.
The Blazers return 17 starters from last year's championship team. UAB has won 34 games since returning to action in 2017, which is the most of any team in Conference USA during that time. UAB has won the C-USA West Division three straight years and the has claimed the conference title in two of the past three seasons.
Along with hosting Liberty on Oct. 2, UAB also welcomes Florida Atlantic (Oct. 9), Rice (Oct. 23), Louisiana Tech (Nov. 6) and UTEP (Nov. 27) to Protective Stadium in 2021.
