UAB Women’s Golf Places Tenth at Chattanooga Classic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The UAB women's golf team placed tenth at Chattanooga Classic at the Black Creek Club.
The Green and Gold shot 943 (+79) for the tournament, posting their lowest round in the last 18 holes with a collective 312.
Tia Teiniketo finished in a tie for 24th overall, shooting a team-low +11 (230). Emilia Smith wasn't far behind her teammate, posting a 231 (78-78-75), ending the tournament in a tie for 26th.
Stephanie Fowler (+25, 241) and Lexie Dawson (244) placed 54 and T-59, respectively. Shelly Chen rounded out the Blazers in a tie for 62nd, shooting a 246 (+30). Playing as an individual, Caroline Waldrop finished T-64 at +31.
The Blazers will be on the road again next weekend, traveling to Macon, Ga. for the Brickyard Collegiate on April 5-6.
