UAB Football Pepsi Spring Game set for April 10 at Legion Field

BIRMINGHAM – Head Coach Bill Clark and the UAB Football program will hold its annual Pepsi Spring Game presented by Legacy Community Federal Credit Union on April 10 at Legion Field with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. The game will air on WJOX 94.5 FM, the flagship station of UAB Football.
The Blazers will play one final game at Legion Field before moving into Protective Stadium for the start of the 2021 season. UAB played to an overall record of 21-1 at Legion Field since the return in 2017.
Tickets to the 2021 UAB Football Pepsi Spring Game are complimentary thanks to the presenting sponsor Pepsi. Tickets will be available the day of the game at Legion Field, or fans can call the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1.
There will be no Blazer Village prior to the game, and fans are asked to park, enter the stadium and follow social distancing guidelines. All seating will be general admission. Parking will be available on game day at $5 per car.
UAB returns 17 starters from last year's championship team, including 12 seniors who are using their extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19. The Blazers return nine starters on offense, including the entire offensive line who allowed the third fewest sacks in the nation in 2020. The defense boasts eight returning starters, led by Honorable Mention All-American Kristopher Moll.
The 2021 UAB Football priority seat deadline for the inaugural season at Protective Stadium is just over two weeks away.
