Johnson Named MEAC Bowler of the Week

BIRMINGHAM –Senior Samantha Johnson has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.
"Samantha was absolutely incredible all weekend long," head coach Michelle Crews said. "She has really stepped up in a leadership role on the lanes. She has a clear vision of how she would like to end her collegiate career and I look forward to seeing her shine within the next two months."
The Apopka, Fla. native finished third in the Railsplitter Classic this weekend after an average of 212.60 in traditional play. Johnson totaled 1,063 pins in five traditional games with a weekend high of 232. She also made the Railsplitter Classic All-Tournament Team.
With this honor, Johnson has been named MEAC Bowler of the Week three times in her collegiate career.
